Wilcox Cove is to a modern course what a Model T is to a modern car. Want to go back in time & experience what a golf course used to look like? Short, with crossing fairways, unfussy upkeep and no irrigation, Wilcox Cove was a great place to head. Sadly, the course -- or rather the land it resides on -- is now up for sale, and the course is closed. I'll personally miss this un-spoiled gem.
