Great island and we have been at marble island marina for a few years now. But after years of neglect and being battered by storms, the trail on the island is unrecognizable and if I hadn't been before I wouldn't have been able to find my way around when we went this summer. The island is only accessible by boat and the way me and a couple friends got there was via paddleboard. So if the town spends a hundred bucks to send in a guy with a chainsaw and weed wacker for the day to clear out the fallen debris and redefine the trail so that the overlook is accessible, it would be really great. And the town won't have to worry about overuse because getting there is challenging, trust me.
