DO NOT BOOK THE VILLAS! I booked for my birthday for this weekend and when we arrived to check in, the entire place is abandoned. Phone number out of service, no one around to help us get settled in. We called the local police who told us Eagle Village resort has been shut down for a year only timeshare holders have the access to their homes. We had to look for somewhere else to stay for the weekend. This is ridiculous. Should not be up for bookings at all. They are just stealing money at this point because there is no point of contact for a refund. It is a shame because this was basically a yearly tradition for my family since 2016 and it has completely plummeted. Hopefully the booking site will be able to help with a refund.

Just got back to reality, If your looking for peace and quiet this is the place. It's a little outdated could use some repairs but we liked it . Staff was very cool quick check in and out . The place we stayed in was a 3 bdrm /kitchen, dining room, living rm 2 baths..small washer dryer. Relaxing weekend seen deer running by early in the morning and we were by the lake . They have a pool (NO lifeguard) games like pinball etc . pool table and outside they have a small section to BBQ. 4 grills total .Overall we enjoyed ourselves has an old rustic look and feel .Pitch black at night all you hear is the wildlife Would definitely return.....

I wish I can give Eagle Village Resort zero stars. I'm a owner and made arrangements to stay on property. I had two deaths in family within 4 days. I've been on property since 3/27/2024. Stephanie manager made arrangements were I was paying monthly. It was so much corruption going on , Owner terminated numerous employees. I haven't had electricity, heat, or water for numerous months causing extreme damage to my family physical, mental, emotional health. The new owners haven't complied with these horrible conditions. Who stay somewhere without water, to bathe and cooking etc. My food went bad in refigerstor and freezer. This unacceptable. I've been in compliance with the agreement with Stephanie, but new owner keep making excuses about the water etc. Please I need support from other owners please advise me. I need everyone to pray for my family keep us in your thoughts and prayers. If anyone want to help out donate anything to help with lawyer fees etc. Please donate to my cash app $Bigbarbara1111. If you can't donate just pray for us during this difficult time in our life. Would be very much appreciated. Thanks a million in advance. I need to fight for justice. Thank you. Barbara

I don't normally leave reviews and this is normally a place that I enjoy visiting with my kids but after this visit we are not looking to return. -For starters the cabins are poorly maintained. I lost count with how many lights aren't working. The faucets are leaky and the couches are stained. Not to mention I found a pair of someone's dirty underwear in the living room under the end table my 1st day here. Then we have the noticeable gaps in the door, poorly insulated windows and barely cleaned tub. The towels also feel like sandpaper against your skin. To add to it the heat system struggles to survive the cold winter nights. Our 1st night here we had the fire place and the oven going just to get an once of warmth in here because the heat system isn't strong enough for temperatures below 5 degrees. Then we have the blinds that are missing slabs, broken closet door and the broken window that is covered by cardboard. On top of the beds that need help. As I mentioned before this use to be one of my favorite places to stay whenever my kids and I came out here, and I know its been several years since we've stayed at this resort but after this stay we won't be back. Especially since you can never reach the front desk for assistance and maintenance doesn't answer calls. I am sitting here now with no electricity in the living room and its been well over an hour since I reached out and no one has shown up yet. I would not recommend this resort to anyone until after it is renovated and they show they care about their guests.

Absolutely love this place! Living in a big and busy city, this is the perfect place for someone to get a quiet getaway. I went twice and was able to stay in a house away from the lake and a house by the lake. Both houses were amazing! The houses were always clean and spacious. I brought extra blankets and things for the kitchen although there are some in the house already. There’s a rec room with some games, gym and heated pool. Depending on where your house is located you’ll have to take a quick drive to the rec house. Definitely will be visiting again!
