Very interesting and old-school design course. Terrain is a significant defender of this track, along with green side sand traps. Mature trees abound as well. Great views from several tee boxes. Greens in good condition. Course is maintained relatively well. Carts are basic and without GPS. Rough can be thick in places. Pace of play for a weekday round was good. I do recommend this course. Enjoy your round.

Great course and even better people. Got the chance to meet the owner and he welcomed us and treated us with respect. Definitely recommend golfing here.

The Cary CC is a historic semi private golf club in the Fox River Valley that dates back to the industrial revolution. The titans of Chicago built summer cottages along the Fox River Valley to escape the heat of the city and enjoy the country life. And hence the Cary Country Club was born to accommodate the businessmen from Chicago and enjoy the country life.

Super disappointing. We were visiting the area, the weather was beautiful and we were excited to be able to play. Poor choice. For what the course is it is way overpriced. The tee boxes are shaggy, the fairways are barely indentifiable and the greens are overgrown and slow. The inside staff was unfriendly. We play all over the country and this was one of the worst cost vs. golf experiences we've ever had. There are many places to choose in the area and this is not one.

I found it game destroying. I am not a mountain goat-anymore. From the front tees (I am a senior), there are 8 par fives. I found the greens virtually impossible to read, and pin placement was dubious at best. If you drop a ball from knee height around the pin, it is not supposed to roll more than 12"- not so on most of the greens. It was definitely challenging, but not a lot of fun.
