Foxford Hills Golf Club Tee Times

Foxford Hills is an excellent track for a public park district course. Unique hole design keeps things interesting, along with challenging greens. It's a bit beat up in places, but far better than most public courses. Well maintained by the groundskeeping staff. No beverage cart the day we played. Food and pro shop staff pleasant and on-task. Golf carts are very good for a public course. GPS and Bluetooth, comfortable seats. Enjoy your round!

My son and I played there today. The course was in good shape. Our issue was that there were two groups ahead of us, two fivesomes. Idk how this is allowed. We had a group of three young ladies directly ahead of us who were constantly waiting for the fivesome group in front of them. The three young ladies eventually cut their losses and jumped two holes ahead of the groups that were holding up play. Once we caught up to the group of five ahead of us on hole 15 the slow play was unbearable and we left. There were no groups on holes 17 and 18 while the two fivesomes just clogged up the course. I blame the course management for not policing this better. We won’t go back, the cost is too much to allow this kind of inconsiderate behavior to happen. We are by no means exceptional golfers but we would like to play at a reasonable pace. If you want to play an overpriced golf course at a 5 hour pace by all means play here.

For a muni this course is very well appointed. The manicured fairways, tee boxes, and greens are always in great shape. Very challenging considering the distance. Course management is a must here. Long ball hitters better have control or theyll be in trouble. Overall a fantastic course.

Well maintained golf course. Greens putt true and fair. Fairways are near perfect. Cost is fair during the week. Staff is friendly and professional. Bar easily handles groups of 48 players. Look forward to playing again soon.

I've been going to Foxford Hills since it opened. Went to the driving range today with my friend. Bought a small bucket of balls. We were the only two on the range. An employee confronted us in the most unprofessional way possible and accused us of stealing golf balls. We had chipped a few from the woods back to the driving range. Ooops. Didn't know that was a crime. But the employee kept chastising us, reiterated that we were stealing, even though we had bought a bucket and hit the few from the woods back on to the range. She actually took a small bucket and filled it with our golf balls and walked away, as if to say there, now you can't steal them. Anyway, very weird. The owner's response says it all. "All over the range" translates to from the parking lot to the mats. We kicked about 10 balls on our way to the mats. Only a few of the balls were actually on the range. Most were in the woods. We were doing him a favor hitting them back to the mats. He also forgets to mention that in addition to the balls collected by the rude employee, we left over 20 balls from our small basket at the range. Finally, the ethics of the golf course is clear when he names my friend, who I purposely did not name. That action says it all. Petty, dishonest, and rude.
