Don't listen to the really bad reviews....it isn't nearly as they portray. For being as old of a resort as it is, it is kept up really well. Only negative about the stay; we expected the bar to be open, but it's closed on Sunday and Monday nights...we were there on a Sunday night. The room was nice, and clean. Shower was hot with plenty of pressure. Bed was nice and pillows are extremely soft. (If you like that sort of thing) Lobby and atrium were very nice, and clean. Lots of plants and trees to see, and the various water features. Pool was nice, and clean. Water was clear and the temps were perfect in both the pool and hot tub. Nice waterslide and waterfall features for each body. Check in and check out was very fast and staff were very friendly. Breakfast is small, but a pretty standard continental fair for any hotel breakfast these days. You're not going to pay an arm and a leg to stay here so don't expect a 5 star resort built in 2019. Expect to get what you pay for... It's not a golf course or 5 star restaurants here. Realize it before you book!

The hotel could use some sprucing up. The carpet on the main floor was stained. Our room was on the fifth floor and we had a great view. I believe there used to be a golf course here. I took a stroll around the grounds, but with a temperature of 90+ and no breeze, it was pretty short. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but there were plenty of guest who did. (We took a quick peek to see what they offered then went out for breakfast.) We didn't get a chance to go to the cave. The people at the service desk were very nice. Overall it was a very good experience.

Architecture is amazing! Atrium is spacious and enjoyable. Rooms were very clean. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Pool area was large. The weekend we went was pretty busy. So busy, that I didn't quite enjoy the pool because it was crowded and dirty. We got a pretty nice deal and that is why we stayed here. Hotel has so much potential but they need more staff to run this large hotel and to stay on top of guests' requests.

We just finished our 3 night stay at this unique hotel. My favorite part about this hotel is the atrium inside of the hotel, it was a stunning and unique feature. I would recommend they label the muffins as some had nuts and there was no warning labels or labels saying what kind of muffins in general. The room did not have a microwave but it had a mini fridge. We would stay here again for sure. We are visiting from 6 hours away and it was our first visit here to this state.

Overall, I had an ok experience. Lets start with the staff; they were very friendly, from the people at the front desk to the people who were serving breakfast, they had nice attitudes which made our stay a better experience! Breakfast was good, it had basic food: bagels, toast, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, fruit and sweets. Now about the installations: I was very disappointed with the condition and cleanness of the hotel. It definitely needs to be updated, maybe more investment to maintenance and comfort levels, as well as keep the common areas and rooms cleaner. The tub in our room was extra dirty; carpets in the room and common areas have stains as well as the curtains in the room. Better pillows and a microwave would really help make the stay more pleasant
