Green Hills Country Club - RT 56 Golf Course Tee Times

We were in town visiting family, stopped here for lunch. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and hubby ordered a burger, plus we ordered poppers to munch on. Excellent food and great service! I highly recommend. The quesadilla was hot and stuffed full of chicken and melting cheese. I am sure we will be back next time we’re in town!

Just passing thru and looked for a course near me and this popped up. A little rough around the edges but a challenging, interesting layout. Nice piece of property made for some fun shots. Good value with some beautiful views and we enjoyed our round.

Its always a fun time here stay away when it has rain alot your golf balls can be hard to find but that's anywhere. But really amazing course and great workers and great driving range and putting.

The course is the most beautiful and well kept course 50 miles in any direction from Charleston WV. (However they need to do something about the extreme awful smell in the clubhouse)

Played here recently and was witness to an argument between 2 customers and an employee in the clubhouse. She was cursing at them, calling them derogatory names, all over a rain check they were supposed to receive from a different employee. The customers were getting angry and using language toward her as well. All she had to do was get ahold of management, a different employee or anything other than yell and curse at them. I used to work at and eventually manage a golf course, that is NOT how you handle things. On another topic, the course was in rough shape. Areas around tee boxes should not be 6 inches high. Rough itself along fairways could/should be mowed a little lower. Our group and I'm sure others spent long times looking for their ball. There are some other things that could/should be done to help improve things: 1) a warning bell on hole 2 and 3 to let players know when the area is clear to tee off. Those blind tee shots could lead to injury 2) I saw signs of no groups larger than 4 but I saw at least 3 fivesomes. Those have no place on a course.
