If I could leave a -1 star review I would. I’ve played over 100+ courses and this course is quite literally the WORST one I’ve ever played. The pace of play is HORRENDOUS, it shouldn’t take a solo golfer 2hrs 51min play 9holes. The course itself is ATROCIOUS, it had just rained the night before but even in a 3year drought the course has terrible drainage, will always be a mud hole. You can’t tell the difference between the tee box, fairway, or rough. Might as well go play a round in a local pasture. I’ve seen better cart paths at an off road park. The ONLY positive thing about this course are the greens. DO NOT recommend this golf course to your friends, neighbors, cousins, your pets, the neighbors step dog, or anyone for that matter.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I live 5 minutes away and I’ll never be back. To start with, the tee boxes and “fairways” looked like they hadn’t been mowed in weeks. Horrible conditions. But the real issue with this course is the people who play there. Hadn’t played there in a year and a half due to too many encounters with rude and entitled people. Decided to give it another shot. Huge mistake. We had a tee time, didn’t just show up. It was cart path only so naturally play was a little slower. Add that to the terrible conditions. We were only on the second hole and a man who, based off his entitled attitude, I’m assuming was a member pulled up and proceeded to chew us out because we weren’t playing fast enough to suit him. It was the second hole. We would have gladly let them play through on the next hole. To sum it up, the course looks like crap and the people who play there are extremely rude and think they own the place. I do not recommend this course.

They don’t care about anyone but the members !! The members get special treatment while others try to play but not allow. Worse place I’ve ever been treated like shit before. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Played there 30 years ago as part of a golf package. We stayed at the Lafayette hotel in Marietta 2 nights( which was beautiful and didnt know at the time its haunted). Got there on Friday and it was raining. We all really wanted to play and they said we could but they wouldnt let us take out carts, we would have to walk. I dont blame them, It had rained hard for 12 hours. It finally turned to a drizzle. The next two days were beautiful and we had a great time. Saw deer on the course while we were playing. Despite the rain, the course was in great condition. The club house didnt offer much except pop, chips and hot dogs. Not a large selection of balls and accessories but it was September and they probably wanted to clear out inventory of the winter. Is it a 5 star golf course, No. It is a nice local course set in the country that is fun to play and a tough little course. Their signature hole has a Ravine that you have to hit at least 150 to clear to get to the fairway. I want to go back someday but its 2 1/2 hrs away from me.

Lost very first ball on very first swing of my straightest , longest drive ever IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FAIRWAY! We lost every ball and my putter even in the very tall grass.
