An excellent municipal course! I played on a weekday afternoon after a morning rainstorm so the course was empty. The course was in great condition, my only concern was some of the tee boxes needed work but nothing to cry about. Very open concept layout, easy off the tee with only a handful of holes having OB. Lots of elevation changes throughout led to many sloping lies on fairways; the course was built into the natural contour of the landscape. Fairways were long and narrow but the rough was cut short, greens were in great conditions and rolled true, and overall the course had few blemishes compared to most municipals. To top it off, I paid $15 to walk. Hats off to Allegheny county, the superintendent, and the grounds crew. If golfing in Pittsburgh, add this muni to your list. An open concept course at a good price. It was a pleasant change from other over priced public courses.

What a beautiful course. Even after some historic, torrential rainstorms the course was well maintained and ready for play. The views from the tee boxes are fabulous with some very challenging holes. One of the best public courses, especially for the price.

Full 18 hole course and a 9 hole course. Tee time booking online is fast and easy. Staff has always been very nice. Short courses, but they are always in good condition and it’s cheap. Overall awesome and much better than other public courses in this price range.
