Frosty Valley Country Club Tee Times

BRIDES BEWARE - NIGHTMARE end to our wedding night: We entered our cottage room on our WEDDING NIGHT at 10:15PM, ready to go to sleep, to find that it had not been cleaned since the previous guest. The sheets were disheveled and there were dirty used towels on the floor of the bathroom giving the room a mildewy smell. We tried calling the “emergency” number for the cottages and were panicking unable to get through to anyone. Nobody was answering even though this was truly an emergency - we had nowhere else to stay on our wedding night. We had to run across the parking lot and beg one of our bartenders to contact someone. This was appalling. While trying to contact FV to discuss what happened the next few days, they were largely unresponsive (several phone calls ignored), dismissive in our requests for compensation for this huge error, and still cannot explain to us why the room was not clean. Overall, Frosty Valley’s treatment of us was absolutely atrocious, and I would not recommend anyone booking this venue or the cottages. Forgetting to clean a room is a mistake, but treating a customer the way they treated us was a choice. I should add that after 3 days they did begrudgingly reimburse us for our room and a $200 credit, a total of $388, which is laughable given that we brought in over $22,000 of revenue for them as the wedding couple. I will also add that when we initially booked our wedding with them, we signed a contract to do catering through them, and a few months into the contract, they told us that they were no longer offering catering, breaching the contract and forcing us to find an outside caterer (Craft Catering ended up being wonderful). I agree with another reviewer on here that our final bill was also not updated until 3 days before it was due, after I had to email Jenni to ask to update it, and then rush to pay it after it was finally updated. Overall, I would NOT recommend anyone book at this venue. Our issues should have been addressed immediately with professionalism and compassion, but instead we were ignored and invalidated - Jenni referred to the cottage situation as an "inconvenience" and the owner, Dave, compared it to finding a hair in a bathtub on his wedding night. I also find it absolutely disgusting that they STILL cannot figure out why a cottage room was not clean, and some of our other wedding guests have now questioned whether their rooms are cleaned as there was an old receipt found in another guest’s room. I'm not surprised to see that another reviewer recently had an issue with cleanliness.

Frosty Valley has been close to my heart for years, I’ve been photographing weddings here since before the barn was even transformed into the stunning venue it is today. Watching it grow into such a sought-after spot has been incredible, and every time I get to return, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favorites. The barn itself is beautiful and versatile, perfect for couples who want that mix of rustic elegance and modern charm. The grounds provide endless options for photos, and the flow of the space makes for a smooth and enjoyable wedding day. What really sets Frosty Valley apart is the team. I’ve had the pleasure of working with all of the coordinators + staff, and they’re wonderful, but Jenni deserves a special shout-out. She is amazing at what she does, organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every wedding day perfect. As a photographer, I can tell when a coordinator is exceptional, and Jenni absolutely is. I’m always excited to book a Frosty Valley wedding. Couples can feel confident knowing they’ll be cared for, their day will run beautifully, and their memories will be set against one of the best backdrops around.

The venue is beautiful, but the staff and cleanliness are not. There was trash all around the venue, cups were left on the cottage patios. The bartenders and golf staff were friendly, and communication was not fantastic. If you want specific details, check out the feedback email I sent to the event staff after our reception, in the photos. We were disappointed in the service/cleanliness, especially with all of the money we paid.

Frosty Valley Resort was a dream venue for my micro wedding reception! Jenni did a fabulous job coordinating all the details so that everything ran smoothly on my special day. We rented out the covered patio for dinner and the side bar inside the Iron Fork for drinks, appetizers, and for our cake cutting. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Our guests kept raving over the filet mignon and the tasty appetizers! The resort grounds provided a variety of scenic backdrops for our wedding photos. So glad we booked our wedding reception here!

We booked 3 cottages for the weekend for our family. We enjoyed the course and had a nice dinner at the restaurant. The cottages are clean and well maintained. The food and service at their restaurant was very good. Will definitely be back next summer.
