Saunders Golf Course Tee Times

My back yard is better than this course. I played the first hole and walk away. The greens are a fairway cut and the the rough goes on for days! Don't plan a on golfing when you're on this island!

Cool retro golf experience. 20 bucks for clubs, balls, and greens fees. Great place to spend a couple hours without a drink in your hand.

First, keep in mind it costs $10 to play the 9 holes; that should tell you something. I'll say we enjoyed getting out, walking the 9 and hitting some balls. That being said... this is barely a golf course. There aren't even tee boxes... pretty much dirt areas to "tee off" from. Yardages on the score card are "approximate" at best. Some are wildly off. Fairways were... ok. Greens were awful.... very long grass, rough, bumpy. I would not consider them true greens. There is very little maintenance or upkeep done and its obvious. You could play the whole course with an 8 iron and putter. All that said.... for $10.... why the hell not. Just have appropriate expectations.

I liked the location on the island and the opportunity to work on my short game. Club selection is fair. Tee boxes need a lot of work, like some grass, some borders and some tee markers. Some clearing of tall tree limbs along fairways is needed. Fun overall.

One of America's great tracks. The haters will say the tee boxes need help. The loyal fans will say don't touch the PIB Country Club, not even the limbs hanging over the greens. Tightest fairways you'll ever play, guaranteed.
