Madison is amazing- having the best time as a first time girl golfer. Thank you to the owners for having her and have her serve us on the course. She’s so personably and she is fun. Thank you for the course and the fun we have had. I would never like golf if it wasn’t for this course and her.

I love this course, but I hate it. It has so much potential, but the conditions are so up and down. The sand traps were the worst in the world for about 10 years. In the past 3 years, they started redoing them, and the new ones are great. Can't wait until they're all finished. Greens can be US Open quality. Or they can aerate them, and they're crap for a month. In the last three years, they've decided to let much of the rough turn into fescue. Two to three feet high, can't find the ball, unplayable usually if you do. This slows up play and makes for a very frustrating round, especially when some of this fescue is right off the fairway. And it's everywhere, every hole. Super penal and very unfair in my opinion. If you make a course way more difficult, does the slope and course rating go up? I don't think the scorecards have changed since it opened in 2000. Also, what is the true yardage? The scorecards list the blues at 6623. But USGA's GHIN list it as 6302. The white tees have a similar almost 300 yard discrepancy. Can someone from the USGA come out and reevaluate the course? And one more thing, the drainage is God awful. I would've thought that a big name firm like Hurdzan Fry would have done this right. Maybe it's the soil? I don't know. But if there's any rain, and I mean one drop, they turn the GPS to cart path only in a heartbeat. Making for an even longer, more exhausting round. I play here almost every week. So I see all the ups and downs. You just have to get lucky when you play it. It can be anywhere from awesome one week, to horrible the next. Good luck! Edit: I am reducing my rating from 4 to 3. After playing it again and taking some pictures, there are just so many trouble areas. We lost multiple balls not far from the fairway in the fescue. A couple years ago these shots would have been fine. Now it's a lost ball. Super frustrating.

Best $40 course I have ever played. Greens just aerated so understandably troublesome, but maintained perfectly for fall. Less leaves than expected (great job maintenance). Layout A+, greens would be A+, fairways A+, price/ value A+++. Negative, a little harder to get to, and bunkers were terrible. Water filling 90% of them, all of them in bad shape. Lost 2 balls in the bunker water. Overall gorgeous course in fall. LOVED it!!!!
