It's a nice course. I haven't played in several years and I'd say not much has changed. It's a perfect place to play in place of going to a driving range. It's cheaper even. Sadly, this place will be closing October 31 and will be replaced with houses. Goodbye Johnny Cake! Thanks for the memories!

Johnnycake is a low budget Executive (par 30 ) course. It is very convenient for me and I go there to practice my short game. Better experience for me than a driving range. There are 2 long par 4's but the rest are short per 3's. Easy to walk although carts are available. Mostly played by seniors, kids and beginners. FYI - the greens are slow and a couple are damaged. Staff was courteous and other golfers were friendly. My only suggestion is that they need to cut the tee boxes shorter - it felt like I was hitting out of the rough on my tee shots. Just keep your expectations in check.

This is where I would teach a woman to golf or a woman would teach a man to golf. Hit it and pick it up. Lost balls in fairways. Excellent to have around. Great for kids too. Don't expect honors here, but always give them, because we know better.

Good course for beginners/kids. It's pretty short and rather simple. Another course might be better if you have a higher skill set

Great course to work on basics and improve your short game. Excellent pace for quick 9 holes of golf.
