Tapawingo National Golf Club Tee Times

Tapawingo Golf Course is beautifully maintained from fairways to greens. The fall scenery is stunning, and the staff in the pro shop and starter are friendly and polite. I captured drone footage and made YouTube video to share!

I wish the wind wasn’t blowing 40mph when I played here. Other than that I really liked this course and the layout of the holes. Some nice flat holes and then some extreme elevation change holes. Only suggestion I would make is hire some bev cart employees for the weekdays. The course was busy for a Monday and not a single bev cart.

Beautiful course . Maintained very well and in pretty good shape given the weather we have had in the st louis region this summer . The greens were in great shape albeit almost an artificial color of green like they painted them or something. Very challenging course . I cant tell you how many golf balls I lost . My own fault with errant shots but make sure you have plenty of golf balls . We played the Woodlands and the prairies courses. The prairies was probably my favorite of the two . It was a little more forgiving because it was more open . Will definitely be back here again

Was very much looking forward to playing this course because of all the good reviews. However, when I got to the course, perfectly on time, the marshal hassled our group for “being late”. Then when we got out there, nearly every single green was scuffed up with various plots of dirt all over. How do you put through that? Not to mention there was no cart service on the course and absolutely no water coolers or ball/club washers. And the maintenance service was watering a green in the middle of our play. If you want to act stuck up like it’s a luxury golf club, maintain your course. Definitely not worth $80 a round and I’m hesitant to say it’s even worth $50.

Do you love going to the restroom and feel like money? If you answered “yes,” this is the place for you. The restrooms are so nice that if you pee on the seat, you want to clean it up because you will feel a sense of guilt, and dread if you don’t. The smell of the restroom is a delightful vanilla (which is a nice surprise for a men’s restroom). The wallpaper is beautiful and feels almost like wood. If I were to give one critique it would be cleaning the paper towel dispensers. Though they are esthetically pleasing, each one needs a good dusting. Also, the large garbage can seems out of place and is too large for the space. Any points I would take away for this, I give back for the beautiful backlit mirrors. They give me a hotel vibe which I love. Overall such a positive experience using the restroom. 4.75 Stars!
