As others have said, the course is nice, always great shape, other than some inconsistent greens, at the beginning of the season. The bunkers were redone, the sand can be thin in some places but good overall. The course is a solid, pretty typical New England track and fits in the area. The conditions always make it seem nicer than others in the area.
The practice facilities are very good with putting, chipping and driving areas. The pool is the best part, very resort like, with towels and a snack bar. The pool s heated and while there were some days it seemed cooler, it was always reasonable.
After that it goes downhill a bit. The staff is largely new and they have some growing pains. They seem to be working out staffing levels and strategies between the restaurant and pool for example.
Due to ownership changes, there can be frustration among some of the longer tenured members. Other policies such as a $15 “travel fee” for using in your own pull cart, can also lead to some resentment and the overall mood at the course can be mixed.
The Network courses are really nice, but they only have 1 or two slots for network members per day (not Saturday). Due to latter hours of availability on Sunday for example it may not be realistic to get in a full 18 come Fall for example.
Overall, there are limited private courses in the area. It definitely has potential if the management can address the growing pains.

Amazing course that’s always in immaculate shape with great facilities for not only the golfer but everyone in the family (pool, locker room, clubhouse, gym, etc). Dining is superb and the staff treat you like family. Well worth the investment and glad I chose to be a member here.

2025 marked my 12th year as a member at THCC, and I've witnessed numerous transitions over the last decade including re-designed golf holes, new bunkers and tee boxes, revitalized grille room, new parking lot, new entryway, new driving range, and necessary tree removal. They've also added two simulators for off-season use as well as a beautiful wall running along the 8th hole.
But the biggest transition has been moving from owner-operated to corporate-owned (especially in Boylston, MA), and the dust is settling there. The staff this year has been great - there's significant continuity for the first time since pre-Pandemic.
Our new Superintendent is doing a great job with the course, the only part of the course I wouldn't rate as an A+ this year is the greens (probably the next big project the club needs to do, but still very, very good and especially challenging to non-members nonetheless).
The 2025 Fall/Winter menu is also probably the best menu I've seen at the club during my time as a member. Many thanks to the team for all the hard work they've done, and to our previous owner who turned the course around and turned it into an inclusive and enjoyable environment!

Excellent food and friendly staff. We have been to The Haven Country Club for Easter and Mother's Day and it is always a great experience. We have provided event photography, face painting, and balloons at the club. Thanks for having us create this beautiful balloon garland for Easter!
