This is a REALLY nice course. It's challenging, yet pretty fair. The greens are new and REALLY hard and VERY fast ! I'm sure that the greens will be more receptive as they age. I'm telling you now to work on your short game before you head to this course! If you can pitch it high with a lot of spin then you'll have a chance to score. The layout on the front is pretty straight forward...THE BACK , OMG 😱! Not gonna lie , that crap was hard but also fun. This course also has some great views. All in all , a great course and layout. The ONLY con has nothing to do with the course. They definitely need a larger parking lot and a larger range. Definitely check this place out though, just bring a lot of extra balls 😂.

I was paired with a young man at Lane Creek and he highly recommended this course. He’s a member and I drive a hour and 20 minutes to play today. Let’s just say I was blown away. This course is well worth the money. Beautiful layout. Fast greens. No houses. Pace of play was not terrible. Staff were so nice. Guy in the proshop(hate that I didn’t get his name. He was absolutely phenomenal, helpful and friendly. If I lived closer I would join immediately! I will definitely make this a must play when I’m in the area. I can’t wait to bring my wife and 3 sons to play.

Fantastic Chimneys Golf Course in Winder, Georgia, truly delivered an amazing golf experience. From the moment we teed off, it was clear the course is meticulously cared for. The fairways were simply superb – lush, well-manicured, and provided perfect lies, making every shot feel like a pro. The tee boxes were equally impressive, consistently in great condition and level, a testament to the club's attention to detail. While some courses boast lightning-fast greens, Chimneys offered something different and equally enjoyable: slow-running, good-looking greens. They were true and rolled consistently, allowing for confident putts and a strategic approach to every hole. The slower pace also highlighted the subtle breaks and undulations, adding an extra layer of challenge and thought to each stroke. The picturesque setting, with its natural rockwork and mature trees, only enhanced the round. The staff was incredibly friendly, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. This course is a hidden gem that offers a fantastic blend of playability and beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed my round at Chimneys Golf Course and will absolutely be playing here again soon. Highly recommended for any golfer looking for a well-maintained and enjoyable outing!
