We considered canceling the tee time because of previous reviews. I guess those people are PGA champions and only play on Augusta like courses. Let me tell you this place is nice. Greens were incredible fairways are great and staff are awesome. The only reason a 4* is because there is no 4 3/4* available. I would 5* but there is no snack shack. Great place highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of playing the course this morning. It was in very good shape, a few spots were a bit rough but really nothing to take away from the 5 stars rating. Very nice scenery, back nine is completely different from the first nine, much more of a desert feel to it.
It's my first time playing in Arizona, as a Canadian, I must say that the price is high when converted to our poor performing currency. That being said, I am here on a business trip and it was totally worth the experience. I definitely recommend the golf course, the staff both in the pro-shop and everyone around the golf course is fantastic.

I flew in from Wisconsin for the week and decided to play this “premier” course. Unfortunately, after two hours we had only completed 7 holes. For $130 and a 2:30 tee time, that’s simply unacceptable.
We played multiple other courses in the area this week that were in better condition, better managed, and offered a much smoother pace of play. This was by far the worst experience of the trip.
Even the marshal mentioned that people frequently complain about pace of play at that time and didn’t seem surprised by the situation. That was disappointing to hear, especially given the price point.
It’s too bad, because the layout and views suggest it could be a really enjoyable course under better management and with proper tee time spacing.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and I’d caution others to consider their options before booking an afternoon round here.

Had a terrible front 9, but I can't blame it on the course. Happy to say I turned it around on the back 9.
I appreciate the par 3s. Only one of them was really long. The others are manageable lengths, and they have a couple with big elevation changes that make them really fun and interesting. Maintenance was pretty good overall. A fun round!

My wife and I had a great morning out at Arizona Grand Golf Course and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We booked a tee time and found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the course’s great location in Phoenix right off the freeway, its excellent condition, and the unique, fun layout.
Each hole brought its own challenge, which made the round exciting and not to the point where you feel defeated on the level of difficulty. I especially appreciated how wide the fairways were on most holes, giving some breathing room off the tee, while the greens added a good level of difficulty with their placement and design.
The service was top-notch all around. From the gentleman who greeted us and took our clubs, to the friendly staff in the pro shop, to the helpful starter who gave us great insight into the course—and even got us out a little early without crowding the tee sheet. The cart attendant was also fantastic, making her rounds regularly and keeping us stocked with drinks and snacks, adding to the overall experience.
The course itself was beautiful, and the weather couldn’t have been better. The views of the valley from several holes made it feel like we were playing in a desert oasis. We can’t wait to come back and play it again!
