Hard course to get on.....now I know why. Quality of this course was great; exceptional fast rolling all over greens, fairways cut well, and rough was a little long but not bad. Tee boxes tended too. It felt like at the beginning a little bad and forth but as the round went on that the elevated greens and many turns that this was a positional course to play on. The back 9 had some shorter par 4s but some tricky tree positions or sand traps was really again a positional play. Awesome clubhouse and pro shop for a course out in the country. Not a ton of water hazards but a few throughout the round had it. Now I realize why this is such a busy course.

Having grown up not far from here, I used to play here quite often. Now, after probably a 40 year absence, I played here today. Remembered most of the holes and the general flow of the layout. The small seedlings from back in the day are now mature , beautiful trees, that might penalize an errant shot, but make this place a beautiful place to play this often frustrating game. It won't be my last trip to the course where I learned to play so many years ago. I probably haven't gotten much better, as many years away from the game creates cobwebs that lead to, for the most part, relearning everything you might have ever known. Returning here today was special, especially doing it with my first regular playing partner, my older brother. Beautiful course, good company, and ice cold beer afterwards on a picture perfect day. What more could you want?

Friendly staff. Course was in pretty good shape. Hadn't golfed there in 7 years and it looks like some remodeling was done in the clubhouse and improvements on the course.
