February 2026: We had been thinking about trying the fish fry for a while and finally got there earlier this month. The dining area was freezing - almost every customer had their winter coat on while eating, including us. The side door was unlocked, allowing customers to open the exterior door and walk through the unheated dining area in February, bringing more cold air in. There were 4 or more space heaters on, but the room couldn't have been more than 60F, if that. There were no heating ducts or an actual furnace(no visible air conditioning for summer either). The room is unfinished, with paper faced insulation showing above the entire dining area and no light fixtures. The waitress was friendly, and that was the only highlight of the visit. The food coming out before ours looked good but once ours came we were missing items. The waitress came back twice with missing items. I don't think she offered a refill on drinks during the visit but it was so cold in the room we didn't need more cold drinks I guess. The cod was ok but a small portion compared to what we get elsewhere in this area. We also tried bluegill but it had a noticeable fishy flavor. The tartar sauce was good but there wasn't enough to cover the fishy flavor. The coleslaw was finely chopped and with a lot of sauce, likely purchased, and wasn't my favorite. The fries were a small portion but ok, and potato pancakes were also ok but very dense/oily. The meals were served on thin plastic plates. This is just not what we were expecting as far as a restaurant experience and won't be back. Perhaps as they get more into serving food these items will be improved on. Rather than them just showing photos of food online it is fair to list these details about the current dining experience. We went home cold and hungry. For the same price you can eat at many delicious actual full service restaurants in the nearby cities or area and you'll be able to take your winter coat off.

Holy Cow, a diamond in the rough. We stopped for Friday Fish Fry. Husband had the Blue Gill, he said it was the bests he's had. Portion was Amazing. Fried Shrimp was Sooooo good. Nice and firm. Cod was very good. Rye bread was fresh from the oven and I could have eaten a loaf. Young Bartender was very Sweet, made an Amazing Bloody Mary. Do yourself a favor and make it a Friday stop. ❤️ Had a add on whatever they season the fries with is the bomb. ❤️

Excellent par three course. In good shape. There also is a driving range and putting green if needed. Will be back. As of 5-13-25 course is in great shape. Great personable staff.
