Course was perfect! Great views, greens rolled great (tricky), plenty of room off the tee. Super friendly staff. Many tee boxes to choose from. Choose wisely!

Amazing course! Even in the winter it was in great condition. Many courses are pretty wet and muddy this time of year but it was very minimal here. The layout is also very good!

One of my new favorite golf courses. Amazing views on a sunny day. Great design allows you to have a challenging round without using long grass and lost balls to penalize. Good pace of play and excellent practice facilities.

Let me start by saying that the Home Course is public - and it is nicer and better maintained than many of the private courses I've played in the last decade. It really deserves a lot of credit for how well kept this place is.
Some things that stood out to me: great practice facilities, incredible open plains, massive (perfectly maintained) bunkers, fast large greens, and some scary winding shots that will make you really work the ball around the course.
From the first tee, you're nestled in the trees, hitting out into an open canvas. If you play conservatively on the front nine par 4s with a wood or iron, you'll find yourself hitting about 150 in on several of those shots because there are uphill fairways to get over. If you step on the gas and hit driver, you could lose it to the sides, but if you make it over the hills, you will be rewarded with massive roll-outs that will put you short wedge distance into many greens.
Visually, the course is stunning, with the strawgrass flowing in the wind, surrounding the fairways, and the deep valleys that you must carry on some shots.
Its not just nice to look at, though. This coursse is also challenging and very shapely. At times, it feels like the course is just begging you to hit a reckless shot because it knows full well that it can eat you up and spit you out if you get too comfortable. :)
The length of the course is really up to you because there are a lot of tee boxes you can choose from. The furthest teebox is called "Dynamite" and they even setup these cute little fake dynamite sticks as the tee markers. Apparently those keep getting taken by handsy golfers - so guys, be good citizens and leave those there, please.
The bunkers were also so interesting. At times, they have those rigid sides that you'd see in St Andrews, and at other times, they are these big orange scoops of perfectly raked dirt, framing gorgeous visuals around the greens. I can say that having gotten into a couple of them, the sand is fair and fluffy. You'll be fine. In the rain, though, I'm not sure. I guess I'll have to come back in the winter time and find out.
Overall, I think this place is stellar. It is easily one of the *nicest* PNW courses I've played out here just because of how pristine and sharply cut the grass is everywhere. This is the sign of real greens-keeping talent, and a lot of attention to detail. Enjoy it out there!

Winter review!!
For the price and literal championship condition in January is unbelievable. If I didnt live an hour and a half away I would be a member hands down. Might be the best overall course in Washington state.
