Blue Boy West Golf Course & Event Center Tee Times

Love this course. It is a small 9 hole with character! Staff is always awesome.

Great course for the price. We love the laid-back atmosphere for a quick 9. The only downside is that it can be hard to know people are still on the course on certain holes, but once you know if there is a group ahead, then you can play slower if needed.

Booked this venue for our wedding. Owner, Ernie answered all our questions, no problem and helped had some really good preferred vendors. Plenty of space for a outdoor set up or indoor. We originally planned it just to be out door, but because a heat wave, we added seating indoor. The venue itself didn't need too much decorations and had more than enough tables and chairs.

So it was a good afternoon to go hit a 9. I went onto the website and got a tee time as I have done in the past. I get to the course and there were cars parked by the 3rd hole. With the amount of cars I figured there was a wedding to be held; no big deal. As I drive to park I see 2 tents set up and people lined up opposite the tents. Carts are buzzing all over the place. Weird but ok I figured it’s some tournament or something but maybe it was over? Not sure . I get to the clubhouse and nobody there. A few minutes goes by and a male worker comes in I tell him I have a tee time and he stops me and says just a sec. Ok I then see him talk to another gentleman who I recognize as another worker. Nothing comes of it. I stay in the club house totally ignored, it’s still pandemonium with the carts and people strolling outside by the tents. Some obviously had beers in hand. So my tee time lapses with no one in sight. I leave and pass both workers who are directing people and carts they see me but with them no acknowledgment of me wasting my time in the club house. It’s a drive for me to come to the course. So I won’t be coming back nor will I suggest it to others who want to find a par 3 in the area. I will suggest Battle Creek instead.

Even being crazy busy being Fathers Day this place was super helpful with a small putting/chipping to warm up while you wait. The course was NICE and fun to play. A fare to ride get there but definitely worth it.
