I have no clue how this place above a 2-star rating but the majority of the reviews are years old. The carts are old, have flat/bald tires and need tuned up to say the least and are covered in spider webs. We asked if they had an air compressor to put air in the tires ourselves and they said it was locked up and they didn’t have a key. The course is poorly maintained from tee to green. The fairways are so long you can easily lose golf balls IN THE FAIRWAY. The “pro shop” restrooms are abysmal (I’ll spare you the photos but believe me). The overall feeling is that they are taking advantage of being one of the few courses in the area and charging a premium. Last but not least is the amount of bugs all over this place. They literally swarm you and can be controlled by proper course maintenance. We payed for 18 but played 9 and had to get out of there. Needless to say unless things change we won’t be back.

Not sure about these other reviewers but this course is definitely not 4 stars. It has 4 star views but that’s it. Where to start?… extremely small greens which are in pretty iffy conditions most of the time. The fairway and rough are hard to tell apart. They literally have 2 good golf carts. The others either have plastic wrap for windows or no windows at all… the tee boxes are in poor condition. This course could really benefit from some fertilizer. Looks like it was a nice course when it first opened but it is definitely in poor condition now. If your out in southwest Virginia just play Draper.

Cool country course with amazing views. Greens were holding and rolling fine except for a few bare patches of dragon scales. Fairways are rather shaggy but it’s a fun course.
