Unfortunately this hotel had few redeeming qualities. The room had no mini fridge, no room service, horrendous internet and the food at the location was generally pretty terrible. The best part was the stellar massage I got from Alex at their spa - probably the best massage I’ve had in 10 years. The location is quaint and very beautiful. But the hotel itself could do with a revamp, serious investment in proper internet which seems like a basic requirement for a hotel in this modern age, and service improvements.

Great place to stay, loved the history, you can still sense the old bones of the building. Great location , close to everything and they offer a lot of amenities on site. The bar/restaurants were good but tended to be easily stressed when busy often turning hotel guests away because the kitchen couldn't keep up. We were there during a busy time, but we were disappointed there wasn't basic take out menu or room service. If you have kids make reservations for everything. Rooms were great , however getting your room cleaned was a gamble, sometimes they made it to your room and sometimes they did not. At check in they should ask if you want your room cleaned daily. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

My family stayed in one of the duplex or townhouses for a ski weekend and it was pretty sub-par. The bedrooms and common rooms were in rough shape with lots of exposed pipes (other than sprinkler heads) and mineral stains, an unlocked utility room with mouse traps (that my kids could have found), stained carpets that look like animal urine and lots of beat up walls with no art or decor or anything and all the tv's had broadcast channels only, no smart tvs. I asked the front desk about a washer dryer for some wet ski clothes and got a very curt attitude. Surprised that a massive hotel and spa did not have a washer and dryer unit for guests. The pool was pretty nice, not super warm, we didn't go to restaurants but the takeout food was pretty good. We were there to ski so didn't stay in the rooms much but this place is for you if you're going to stay here with your golf/ski bros and not a family.
