Charged full price even though the course looked like a construction site due to the installation of new irrigation. Sinking in mud trying to get to tee boxes and greens. Worst golf experience I’ve had.

The course has potential, but it’s significantly overpriced for the current conditions. It was cart path only while actively under construction, and one hole was closed — that should absolutely be reflected in the fee. Website / pro shop didn't have any warning of construction either.

Meadow Creek has really stepped up their game, so major props to them. The fairways and greens have come a long way from when I was a kid starting to learn golf. Greens are still not ideal, but that is just what you get when you play at a municipal course; it won't be perfect.
The only thing that really needs to be worked on is the bunkers. They are basically unplayable when you get in them because it is just so dang hard with clay because of the poor drainage. Sometimes the bunkers are minor swimming pools. But I understand resources are limited. Also, I think that the driving range really needs an upgrade. The residue from both the mats at the range and caked dirt from the bunkers make cleaning the clubs an extra hassle.
But otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say. I loved coming out here during the summer after a shift and walking 9 with my friends. I would maybe suggest reviewing the prices of students because it can really add up. Maybe a summer membership for a couple of hundred bucks?
I love coming out to this course and look forward to the many future rounds that my friends and I will play.
