Stop searching and book right now. This resort is top notch. Immaculate. Pristine. Gorgeous. Luxurious. All you want in a resort. And I didn't even touch the food. Amazing all around. The staff was so attentive and courteous. From the moment I walked in, Rayder was so accommodating and pleasant. We had a wonderful conversation. Then, Sadie, the host at Latitude, made an effort to remember every guest's name. She was the highlight of our morning. Maxwell at Basalt was the most charming waiter who knew everything about the menu. He was so personable and topped off our night with recommendations and a touch of class. I loved the gym with a plethora of equipment offerings. It was a bit chilly the week we came, so we opted not to golf. We will be back. I highly recommend it here. So glad it's an option.

We've been fortunate to attend all four days of the PGA tour the last couple of years and absolutely recommend the VIP package. We decided to do an overnight staycation last night and with the exception of the 20th Hole restaurant (see review) everything was first class. Our room was beautiful, the view from our balcony was breathtaking and the staff (again with 20th Hole being the exception) were personable and fun. The food at Latitude was also terrific. I struck up a conversation with the evening valet while waiting for DoorDash and was impressed with his demeanor and professionalism. Black Desert Resort is a beautiful asset to our area and we will return.

We’ve been to stay at Black Desert twice. We’ve loved it both times. The most recent time, we were able to use the spa ammenities and it is SO nice. I had several massages in the week we were there, but my massage experience with David Sanchez was next level! After my massage, I got a full 8 hours sleep, which was the first time in so many years that that’s happened. I enjoy massages frequently because I live with a lot of bodily pain. Never does my pain go away after the massage. My pain was totally gone after this massage. I booked another massage two days later with him before our trip ended. I was so grateful and will be looking for him again next year when we visit.
