I live about 10 minutes away from this course and I had never been in about 6 years of being so close. Honestly, I am a terrible golfer and I do not have many opportunities to play or practice as a result of my family and career choices. But it was the end of the season and I decide to pull the trigger and play 18 with my dad and uncle who are 60+ and 70+ respectively. I was absolutely stunned by the beauty and uniqueness of this course. Its everything south mountain, riverbend, and fox hollow wish they could be and what they spend thousands trying to be. I now regret that it took me so long to play here. Admittedly, the course looked crazy difficult when I'd drive by and the Google view of it made me concerned that I'd be hitting into houses with my inconsistent swing. But I was absolutely delighted to see that I was more than capable on playing this course and all the houses were in areas and at distances that even a high handicapper like me was not worried. Lastly, my group had some medical impacts and not only were there multiple bathrooms, but we ended up behind pace of play and the marshal had to come speed us along. David was the marshal and he was the kindest person I've ever had the pleasure of encountering on a course as an employee. He was understanding and didn't ever let a smile leave his face. He had no idea of our groups medical issues, and I was very appreciative of his approach to the problem knowing that he could have been upset with us. Then Chris in the pro shop was a great addition to the overall experience when I went to compliment David. I can definitely say that I will be back to this course again in the future and I am going to tell everyone I know about how good of an experience I had here.

20251106 Had a blast today! My first HOLE IN ONE! WHAT!?!?! yeah!!! Hole 5, blue tees, 200 yards, #calaway hybrid and ball. Just incredible

The start of this course is epic with a high tee overlooking most of the course. After that, it mellows to a fun 18 with good views Most of the holes are straightforward and the greens are all fairly level. A few dry or repaired spots in the turf are visible, but nothing that can't be ignored. Overall a very fun course
