Relaxing Solo Round – Great Afternoon! Walked on solo around 2 PM while in the area for work and finished by 4:45 PM riding. The groups ahead were kind enough to let me play through, making for a smooth and enjoyable pace. Course was in good shape overall — I’d give it a solid 7/10, greens good condition. One hole was under repair, but they adjusted it to a short par 3, which worked fine. Layout is challenging in a fun way, with water hazards on multiple holes and a few nice elevation changes that keep things interesting. They do have a driving range, but I didn’t have time before or after my round. The grill was reasonably priced, which was a pleasant bonus. Overall for the price, a great experience — I’d definitely return if I’m back in the area.

Fantastic course. Price is unbeatable. Greens are exceptionally good and quick. Fairway is pretty well maintained. Pretty challenging course. Really enjoyed playing. Fairly walkable, but there are a couple of holes with some distance between green and next tee box.

Been playing Bay Forest since I moved here 15 years ago. Well maintained, nice muni course. I was playing a weekday afternoon round the other day though and witnessed something not great. I watched a marshal ride up to what looked to be a high school girl playing a practice round. He told her she walked to the wrong hole and her correct hole was around the corner. She looked embarrassed and apologized. As he rode off he yelled something at her. At my next hole, I saw her come around the corner with a red face and she was upset. What a guy. You’re there to facilitate the pace of play, not yell at kids learning the sport. This is inexcusable. Didn’t get his name but he was wearing a white rope hat with big letters across it.
