Decent course. Neat layout and it’s nice having 3 different 9’s. 4 stars because most of the greens were awesome but there were bit that were far less than stellar. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Price-wise, >$80 with a cart is too much for this quality a course. I’d pay closer to $50-60 to come here again. Pace of play was fine, no real wow factors. Nice club house, outdated carts. 7/10 course that’s priced like a 9/10.

Staff is great, but ownership/management is terrible. They only care about money and not about the players or golf in general. a few months of the year, this course is usually very awful. They lost the fairways and greens for 2-3 months last year. Tee boxes are bad, and bunkers have hard galveston beach sand. Since I was not allowed to be a member anymore because i left a bad review in early 2025 (that i removed when conditions were better), I will never spend another dime there. Pretty bad when a business cannot take any constructive criticism. Its always busy simply because its a great location and it COULD be a very nice track. Moody, Eagle Pointe, bay forest and South Shore are all much better maintained courses.

If I could give this course zero stars I would. This course is complete trash. 80 bucks until 430 pm on the weekends. I wouldn't pay 40 bucks for this course in its current condition. It used to be a premium course in the Houston area but those days are LONG GONE. The fairways are absolutely atrocious. Good luck trying to take a divot. It's like hitting off concrete. The greens are about a 3 out of 10 and the tee boxes are even worse. It's like they've just given up and just going to keep charging 80 bucks because suckers like me keep paying it. Not anymore. Save your money and time and go to wildcat. Same price but ten times the course.
