We checked in on Christmas Eve and the lady was very helpful and polite. We were excited to have rented a cabin to stay in for Christmas. The cabin was clean and cute, however….the floor was so soft it felt like we were going to fall through it! The bed was as soft as CONCRETE! We could not sleep it was awful! We stayed in cabin #9. Awful. Terrible. Would not recommend.

There isn't much good I can say about this place to be honest. Our stay has been awful. From the cabin floors not meeting walls, the heat not working and blowing cold air with the loudest whistle coming out that kept us awake all night to the disregard of the staff, we won't be returning. We drove 3.5 hours for my birthday vacation only to have to move cabins after our first night because our heaters weren't functioning correctly. The kitchen had 4 plates, a few wine glasses, 1 fork and 1 knife. The floors and the walls didn't meet and no one bothered to install shoe molding, so there was dirt and gross Ness all along the walls. There is no staff on-site after 6pm, so there was no one to tell about the heat until the next day. When I went to the front to tell someone, there were 3 people sitting in the office eating and no one seemed as they wanted to help. Once someone did get up, she simply said "I'll send someone to look at it". No apology. The maintenance came and agreed that the system was malfunctioning (he was very kind). He took the initiative to tell the front and work to have us moved. No one ever apologized (other than maintenance). There was no "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience" no "please have a cup of coffee, or breakfast on us" Nothing. I've been in customer service for years and would go above and beyond to make sure my costumers were pleased, this isn't the case here. Only come to stay here if you golf, not because you want a good night's sleep. I honestly would have left after the first night if we wouldn't have paid in full already. The new cabin they put us in was also poorly renovated, has the worst water pressure and has the same empty plug in fire hazard in the wall as the last one. I'm so over this, I'd just like to go home and forget this trip.

Our entire stay was a disappointment. Beginning with arrival at 4:00 pm to check in and walking into a dirty ranch house. Front desk said it’ll be an hour delay because maintenance had to repair a shower head in one of the houses but BOTH the ranch houses we booked were filthy. So my family ended up standing around until 5:40pm for the houses to be cleaned. There was absolutely no hospitality during this inconvenience, in fact it was the opposite. We were told that the manager Jessica had notified her staff we would not be granted a late check out or anything else because it was a maintenance issue. Im sorry but your maintenance and house keeping issues should not fall on your guests. Next tragedy comes when we finally get into the ranch houses for the night after driving for 14 hours only to find one of them absolutely disgusting. Dirty bedsheets, peeling floors, moldy door frames, etc. Not habitable for a family with 2 kids and a newborn. The front desk closes at 10:00pm but we were contacted only to be told there was nothing that could be done until the manager shows up the next morning. So my brother’s family packed into ranch house A with my family with makeshift beds to get them by for the night. They were at least moved into the main lodge the next day. We will never return to this establishment or recommend it.
