The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch Tee Times

Like several before me have stated, the 2 stars are given simply because of the staff. The pace of play was good once we jumped a hole in front of a guy teaching lessons on the course. Not joking..each shot was a group session with instructions followed up by balls being sprayed in every direction... which wouldn't be as bad if it weren't at the 8AM tee time! (Marshall never made an attempt to correct issue) Course was still hard pan in areas but overall not as bad as some I've played recently. Due to lack of rain, hard to blame them for that. Biggest issue is the greens! Or lack there of... They're HORRIBLE and unplayable! Don't take my word for it, look at the pics! At least 16 of 18 of the holes were disastrous!! The part that pisses me off the most is NOTHING was said by the staff when making tee times or checking in. No discounts were offered either. Definitely not worth $120+!!!! Not worth half of that... After reading the rest of the reviews, pissed off is compounded due to the replies... simple words! NOTHING has changed and they continue to deceive and rake in unearned money!! Don't worry...I've left reviews on multiple golf sites warning of the issue! Stay away until they FIX the problem! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

Today, I visited for the first time with my parents who traveled a long way to see me. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their thoughtful service truly touched our hearts. This is my parents’ first time in the United States, and during their stay, this will be the only place they visit. Thanks to the wonderful team here, they now have such a beautiful first impression of America. The detailed and caring help meant so much to us. Because of you, Cinco feels like a wonderful place to live. Thank you all for making this experience so special for my family.

It is interesting the staff in the pro shop are fantastic, welcoming, attentive and have a full service attitude. I am just coming back to golfing after recently retiring and they make you feel great about the experience. I am going to rate them very high but please do be advised as follows: If you read reviews, many of the one star ratings are regarding one particular employee that works outside the pro shop. I am not going to name the individual but they are spot on. It is true that they have one person there that they should fire that works at the ball handout hut. Most of the other staff that work the same job there are respectful and do their job well. Mr. one star does play his little mind games, has an attitude, and makes inappropriate jokes as well. I am surprised someone has not sent him for some emergency dental work. I will say that I totally agree with the folks that have complained. He has the ability to really put a cloud over what should be a completely positive experience. I do believe this place is overall very professional and rate it high. On my last visit, it seems like mr. one-star may have been coached.

12/20/25. I am very surprised (after reading some other comments and seeing things myself) that this course rates more than two stars. Staff is very nice and that's the only reason I am giving this two stars. Today, my nephew and I played. This course ABSOLUTELY is not worth $110 on the weekend or any day for that matter. At most this course is worth no more than $50 ANYDAY even if the greens were good. No pictures but take my word for it. I really don't care about the tboxes(you can always tee it up) but the fairways and greens really need to be somewhat ok. Fairways had grass but it was sooo flat that you might as well be hitting off the bare ground and the greens had what we call land mines (old divots and some kind of repairs) alllllll over EVERY green. No GPS on carts. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I guess it might be the area this course is located but ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH MORE THAN $50 ANYYYYYYDAY.

Played here yesterday for the 2nd time in as many months. Both time the greens were horrendous and the practice green was closed. Random people walking around the course like it’s a park and nobody tells them anything. The pace of play was not good either and never got better from hole 1 to 18. $110 is way too much for how bad the course conditions and slow play are. Range balls are more expensive than other courses and carts have no GPS. I really like the layout but will not be returning until they fix their issues.
