Cowboys Golf Club Tee Times

Had an awesome time out at Cowboys Golf Club! From start to finish, the whole experience was outstanding. The driving range was excellent and well kept, which made warming up a great start to the day. Once on the course, everything was in fantastic shape  the fairways were clean, the greens rolled true and fast, and you can tell they really take pride in maintaining the course. The layout was both fun and challenging, making it enjoyable whether you're playing competitively or just out to relax. Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the overall experience was first class. Definitely looking forward to coming back again soon!

We held our annual software development meeting at Cowboys Golf Club last week and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the team was responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Every detail was handled seamlessly, and the food, service, and overall hospitality were outstanding. The course itself was in excellent condition, and the brand-new driving range, which opened the Friday we played, was impressive. The new putting course will also be a fantastic addition. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, grabbing a meal, practicing, or playing a round, this is a first-class facility. We truly appreciate the entire team for making our time there so enjoyable. We look forward to coming back. Thank you!

First off - the service here is stellar. Brock is really a wonderful leader there and clearly take's service seriously. The course layout is amazing. For public courses in DFW area - it's definitely one of the best. There are big drops and rises that just doesn't really exist in public course Texas golf that makes it really cool. The layout is challenging and with very well thought out holes. That said, just a few notes for those considering the course: (1) The greens are still very new and as result they have some sand on them (Brock shared that) so they aren't perfect just yet, but will likely be perfect shortly. (2) The course get's a lot of play so some of the Par-3s have a temporary tee-box. (3) The course is cart-path only. (4) This is very pricey. For someone looking strictly for the golf (not the food/experience side of things) it may not be worth the price point it's currently at. However, if you're trying to take out a client or go for a really fun day with your buddies and create an exciting experience that's very unique - it would absolutely be worth it. I would suggest to management to have a separate golf-only option that is more in line with the pricing of other DFW courses. But overall, a really great experience and amazing course!

I believe this course will eventually arrive at the standard they seem to set for it, but it doesn't seem to me to be there yet, at least for their current price point. Played there on January 2nd. No range available (though apparently opening within a month or so), and was invited to hit into these small nets or use the chipping range to warm up. Such a rinky dink option that it feels probably better just to remove those sad little hitting nets and apologize for the lack of range. Very recently remodeled, so the greens were all very new. Hopefully they mature, and they are fairly even now, but felt like putting on velcro, with a considerable amount of putting uncertainty and extra variability as a result. Also, we were told right as we were about to tee off that it was cart path only on every hole. Not from weather, but to preserve the new remodel work for awhile. Neither this nor the lack of range was communicated at all to any of us who played that day. None of this would be too bad were it not for the expectations arising from the $320 price (one of the priciest if not the priciest golfing option in the DFW area). Feels like they opened the course up a bit early to try to recoup some of their investment sooner, which is fine as long as the price is lowered commensurate with the reduced quality in experience. The personnel must be in a difficult spot because such comments, even though gently delivered as questions and feedback, were met with defensiveness instead of a more appropriate focus on the customer experience. On the positive side, the cart staff and the restaurant staff were all very pleasant and engaging, and the layout of the course was interesting, pleasant, and enjoyable. Hoping to revisit this course later to see if they've matured in the above mentioned trouble areas as it seems promising.
