I joined Smithfields in March of this year, and I am extremely glad I did. The general manager Wilkes has created one of the best values in the upstate when it comes to private clubs. The course is extremely well maintained (with perfect greens even in the middle of December), the food is on par with any high-end restaurant in the area, and the owners are consistently putting funds back into the facilities. While there has been some turnover which is expected these days, I can’t think of any other issues at this time. If you are looking for a club with great value in the upstate, this is it.

Played a tournament here. Course was in nice condition and was the right amount of challenging for a mid beginner. Club house was nice and staff was friendly.

Initially I had left an unfavorable review. But after having a conversation with the owner Tyler, I feel that I should update. Tyler took the time to personally call me and listen as I voiced my concerns. I feel in today’s environment that is commendable and a great character virtue not found very often.
We spoke as gentleman and were able to resolve my concerns.
I appreciate his candor and concern and wish him and his business all the best success!
