After playing 18, we had definitely worked up an appetite. Lunch was served quickly and was delicious! Had the California turkey wrap and the buffalo chicken salad… both very tasty. Staff is amazing from start to finish. Super friendly and very kind. They really cater to ensuring a great experience for guests. Course was beautiful and in great condition. Lots of “bunkers” that aren’t considered bunkers (you can ground your club), but still keep you honest. I liked that I could have the occasional mishit and not be completely out of play. It’s probably a lot more challenging in the summer when the natural areas are in full growth mode. I’d be all-in to play here again. The replay option is nice where you can play one of the other Barefoot courses.

Such a fun (if you can call a Dye course w/ sand everywhere fun) and challenging 18. It’s fair - but, ya got to know where to miss and when to take yo’ medicine for an errant shot. Service was top notch and the Marshall’s really kept the pace of play. Thanks Barefoot!! I’ll be back!!

After playing eight rounds of golf in the Myrtle Beach area. this honestly was the course I was looking forward to the most and sadly might be the most disappointing, especially for the price! when we arrived I have never in my life. seen so many people waiting to tee off the bad boys were doing overtime. there must have been $60 to 70 bags waiting to be loaded up. tells me right away. they've overbooked literally. I've never seen anything like this and I've played golf for 20 plus years and do these outings all the time. talk about this lowest round of golf that was easily 5 hours and totally unnecessary. The conditions weren't up to par, especially when we had played courses the days before a third. the price you can imagine how disappointing we were with this. I know it's a resort. I know it gets overplayed but for Pete dye design the layout wasn't even all that intriguing. the waist areas were everywhere and again the conditions themselves were a little poor. add that to an absorbent price you have what me and five other guys agreed was our least favorite round of golf in the area. save your money. go north of the border and play the courses in shallotte Ocean Isle area. they are tremendous for the price. otherwise I would go to the south end and play around pawleys island. clubhouse was great merchandise, food etc. everything was really good in regards to that. it was really just the golf course not living up to expectations, especially for prices. upwards of $200. like I said we played courses that were far superior for under a hundred bucks that's a no-brainer.
