This is Rhode Islands hidden gem of a golf course. Originally a private course for the Standard Oil Company. Every hole was well maintained and playable, with chances to use every club in the bag this is a must play course. If not multiple times because when it comes to golf they give it away. $15 walking 9 and $30 with a cart. Everything is Green!!!!

Upon arriving at Silver Spring Golf Course in East Providence, I encountered an older gentleman named Jim, who seemed to be a walking encyclopedia of the course. His enthusiasm for the place was infectious, and within moments, I found myself engaged in a conversation that seemed to span the entire history of the greens.
Jim, with a sparkle in his eye and a passion for golf that seemed to transcend time, eagerly shared anecdotes about the course's evolution, its challenges, and its charming quirks. His stories painted vivid pictures of golfing adventures and memorable moments that had graced those very fairways.
As we walked towards the first tee, Jim continued regaling me with tales of remarkable shots, legendary games, and the ever-changing landscape of the course. His knowledge was astounding, and his love for the game was palpable with every word he uttered.
What started as a brief chat morphed into what felt like an endless discourse on the course's nuances and its place in the local golfing community. Time seemed to stand still as Jim's passion fueled an extensive narrative that carried us through the afternoon.
Eventually, I managed to bid Jim a polite farewell, promising to carry his anecdotes and tips with me as I tackled the course. His contagious enthusiasm had left an indelible mark, turning a simple visit to the golf course into an immersive journey through its history, all thanks to the endless passion of one dedicated golfer.

This is the most laid-back, coolest place I've ever played ... Everyone's friendly, and it's just a very nice atmosphere ... Keep in mind that it is 6 holes that you criss-cross play (holes 3+5), but it's a really nice little course for what it is @$15 base price to play ... (Yes, the holes are par 3-5; it's not just a par 3 practice course) ...
