Highlands of Donegal Golf Course Tee Times

Golf course is ok at best. I play it because it's so close. My golfing buddies like to jest about the "carnival" holes! I will say that Brian does a fantastic job of making patrons welcome and giving great tips about the course. FORE and 3 stars is about all I can say about the course.

Little hidden gem in Mt. Joy. Movement like no other course in the area for sure. Up and down, left and right. Not just an "up and back" course like many of the local public courses. The greens - though they look a little shaggy - roll true and will reward a well struck putt as much as they'd penalize a poorly struck one. I feel like the best time to play is early in the morning or late in the day for a beautiful light that accentuates the rolling hills and water features. This course rewards good course management, and can be fun from ANY tee, so if you're a big hitter, you don't need to play the tips just to feel challenged. Will definitely be back here more during the season, and put it on my rotation for the season. Good leagues too!

Okay course. I hadn't been here for a few years and it's not as well maintained as it used to be.

Absolutely brutal conditions for a course charging $58.00 to play on the weekend. Crab grass all over the tee boxes and fairways, burned out, yet muddy greens. Unplayable, boring layout, will not return.

My review of this course has drastically changed over the past year and a half. I used to play this course every Saturday morning, but I’m afraid I may not return. Besides the course not being in the same shape it has been in the past, one of the owners who stands out on the porch of the clubhouse is just downright mean and an old grump. For some reason he felt the need to tell me to join carts with someone I didn’t even know mid round, and when he danced around telling me to do that I politely asked him, “would you like me to join carts with him?”. His response was so out of line, and when I went into use the bathroom I apologized to the bartender if I did anything to upset him and they responded, “oh, he’s just sometimes like that…”. Hopefully this doesn’t continue for them and they do not lose anymore loyal customers.
