Downingtown Country Club Tee Times

Recently married here & cannot say enough good things. For a late September wedding the flowers were amazing, everyone raved about the food, the bartenders were great, & all the preferred vendors recommended from the team at downingtown ended up being fantastic too.

Absolutely beautiful course inside and out. Played there in a company event. Staff professional and very helpful. Course emacullant. Design and layout very well thought out. The grounds are meticulously maintained. It all made for a wonderful business outting with friends and my Father. Special day for me. Many thanks to Downingtown Country Club for the great hospitality and experience!

I could not have asked for a better wedding day thanks to Downingtown Country Club! Terri and her staff are phenomenal and pay so much attention to detail and ensure that your special day goes according to plan! Terri held our hand the entire planning process, leading up to the day, as well as the day of. Ensuring things were set up properly and checking in on us while getting ready. Brooke the wedding concierge was absolutely amazing as well. She was so supportive and helpful I’m so thankful she was with us the entire evening! She helped us with our couples portraits, grabbed us drink refills, and made sure we were having a good time! I also must say ALL the food we had was absolutely phenomenal. Every one of my guests that I spoke to were raving about the food! From the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert everyone was taken away by how good everything was. Thank you so much Downingtown Country Club and all their amazing staff for making my day so special! ❤️

Our daughter and son in law got married there two weeks ago. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The grounds were stunning, the food was incredible, and every detail was handled with utmost of care. A special thank you to Terri Hughes!! She was patient, very organized, and made us feel calm through the whole entire process. She had everything decorated perfectly, right down to the smallest detail. You could tell she truly cared about making our daughter’s day unforgettable. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the setting was and how wonderful and attentive the staff were. Thank you, Terri and staff at Downingtown Country Club, for giving our families a day we’ll treasure forever. We can’t imagine having their wedding anywhere else.

I came back a year later in hopes that one of my favorite old tracks had improved. It hasn’t. It’s gotten worse. All the things I said in my review below are still true, but worse. Feel ashamed that I got suckered, again, to pay their $95 Sunday rate. Something I don’t understand… how can the head greens keeper walk this course and take any pride in his work? It’s embarrassing. If I’m Jaworski, how can I look at the property and be ok with the job my people are doing. I know the history of this course, and what current ownership is doing should be criminal. It makes me sad. See pictures. You are looking at a tee box. Some fairway. Green side. A bunker. And these are just samples. I could’ve taken 100 pictures. All a total disgrace for a course that thinks they deserve premium rates. There isn’t a course this poorly conditioned within 50 miles. Been playing here almost 40 years. The course has had its ups and downs. Right now we are in one of those down periods. Fairways are first cut rough length. Greens are slowest I’ve putt on this season anywhere in the area. Probably rolling around a 6 at best. Not a flat tee box on the course - with more divot mix than grass.
