Dear Steve Grube, on August 3, 2019 was the last time my husband and I would golf together and that time was at your golf course. My husband died suddenly of a cardiac arrest just one month later on September 4th. I can only wonder if the reason he moved a little slower that day on Aug 3rd was because of his heart but he didn't tell me. My plea to you, Steve is to be more gentle and kinder when you see an older couple on your golf course. My husband was a good man and meant no wrong that day when you came harshly after him for taking so long on your course. My heart is broken as I remember how frustrated he was that day when you yelled at him for taking too long. Here is the previous review... Yesterday, Saturday Aug 3, 2019, my husband and I went out to celebrate his 66th birthday. We both had worked all day. I got off earlier in the day but he got off work late and got home at 430. We hoped that we still had time to celebrate his birthday by him golfing cuz he was looking forward to it since he works so much every day and doesn't get out to golf very often. We arrived at tumblebrook at 6pm and the kind receptionist told my husband that he had 2 hrs for the 9 holes. My husband warmed up with stretching exercises and practiced putting. Being older and out of shape and having had heart surgery after a cardiac arrest 9 yr ago he moves kinda slow, he drives slow and is slow and methodical in all he does. He was losing a lot of balls, I lost count after 6! Even though he's played all his life it was VERY easy to lose balls due to a lot of overgrown, unmowed grass on the fare way. In the past, I've rarely seen him lose a ball. Being frugal my husband spent a good time looking for those balls as he was running short on supply. At the end of the 7th hole, Steve Grube., the new owner drives up behind us in his golf cart and starts announcing in an authoritative tone that it was time to wrap it up. I told him he would have to talk to my husband cuz he's the one golfing and driving the cart. My husband was walking up from the brooke having unsuccessfully searched for yet another lost ball. I said we are having a hardgo of it losing so many balls in all the tall grass. It hadn't rained for a week but we were understanding about all the tall grass and terrible conditions from previous rain. Yet, instead of trying to fully understand our problem and be empathetic, or apologize for the conditions, his attitude was like we were criminals. He said it's almost closing time 745pm and we were to come to the club house. He asked if we had beer in our cooler as though he was a cop trying to take us in on a DUI.!! I said no Gatorade and water. He said come buy some food and beer at the club house. We said no thanks we don't drink and he adamantly told us we had to leave and escorted us off of the golf course. My husband said I guess it's not important that you have satisfied customers and Steve said he had a lot of them. My husband said that he guessed he would have to take his business elsewhere and Steve said thank you! He said we could report him to the township if we want and gave us his card, as though he would get a bonus from the township from throwing someone out of his backyard at curfew time. We left the parking lot before 8 pm astounded at Steve's lack of knowledge of customer service. This next review was 2 years ago We went on Labor Day for the nine holes and had a very relaxing and spectacular day with beautiful weather amongst few golfers. We saw a deer crossing the fairway, a flock of geese nestled down in the fairway who did not flinch when the ball landed inches in front of them, and tons of minnows in the brook where our ball decided to visit, haha. Also a lot of gnats, but that was the only downfall... good course for beginners and unprofessionals like us who enjoyed some family time on a holiday. Golf carts clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly also. Some of the fairways were dried out and patchy from lack of rain, and scorching heat waves x5 this summer but the putting greens were in excellent shape.

Great course. Good place to play if you want to get in a quick 9 holes. The people are nice and friendly. Under new management. Their liquor license will be renewed shortly.

Great alternating 9 hole course designed by the famed D. Ross! Steve G., course manager, and his team, does the most, with limited/if any resources/interest from the owners (Upper Saucon Twsp.)...well worth the play. Nice pub feel clubhouse!

Great course to learn on. Cheap fair and cart fee easy to walk or ride course. I play there every sunday and I enjoy it. I would definitely recommend this course to a beginner and/or someone just going out to have fun. Enjoy

Looked forward to a nice 9 hole walk. Showed up one woman manning everything was on the phone. Waited 5 min for her to Finnish her call. She hangs up and starts to help me, gets another call and leaves me to take it. Spent 2 minutes trying to put the person on hold then left to give the manager the info that he got a call. He was on the putting green. So 10 min. Into it I left without playing. People in front of you is worth more than a phone call. Or at least a phone call should not butt in front of me in line. Either get more help, or take care of customers in person first. Went to locust valley and had a nice round. Disappointed.
