It takes alot to get 5 stars at any place these days. But this place deserves it. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. My son is just learning the sport and was having some issues at the range. I walked away from my son and went into the pro shop where I was greeted by the mgr. I asked about private lessons for my son. He gave me his rate along with his young colleague Ian's rate, who I had met a few times prior and was always very friendly. The mgr. Said that Ian was outside at the Pavillion and to talk to him about scheduling. I found Ian, and as always, he was smiling. I told him the situation and what was going on with my son. This young man dropped what he was doing and immediately went over to my son to help him. Who does this anymore? Ian does. He didn't think twice and didn't want any money for the time he spent with my son. My son was so happy that someone did did that for him. Priceless! So along with the beautiful well manicured lawns, greens and fairways. You can enjoy a game of corn hole while having a beverage on there beautiful deck, which overlooks the driving range. Or sit inside at there bar, while watching the game. Your choice and a win either way. This is why Honey Run Golf Club gets 5 stars and not 4. If you dont believe me, go see Ian. Thank you Ian, for everything you have done for my son and myself. You are exactly what this world should be like. Don't ever change!

Played on Friday, and while the course was in good shape, play was extremely slow due to the fact that many twosomes and even a single were permitted to play without pairing up. My group waited approximately 10 minutes or more on just about every hole. We skipped the last two holes, and the round still took almost 5 hours. Honey Run needs to do a better job managing this.

Speaking more on the lessons here. Before doing lessons I was shooting 100-115 consistently. After a few lessons with Mark I’m now shooting in the 80s. Everyone learns different but I tried a few coaches before hearing about Mark and his teaching style just clicks. Got my slice under control. Has me hitting more consistent and straight with every club. Range and short game area are always in amazing condition. Can’t wait to get out and see the course. IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A GOOD COACH THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere going in to the clubhouse/ pro shop is warm and welcoming for golfers of any caliber.
