Friendly staff and helpful staff.
They run a 5 holes for 7 bucks after 6pm (time probably varies by team of year) which is a good deal.
The greens are pretty ripped up, Geese shit abound, and the cart paths are reminiscent of any PA road, but if you are doing the 7 bucks its not bad. A few pretty cool holes too, I forget if Its 10 or 11 but the one with the steps is a fun one and the lake on hole 2 is fun. Overall a place I'm glad to have locally.

This place has hilariously bad reviews but I saw a golfnow deal for $20 so I figured I'd try it out. I got there and the guy at the pro shop asked if I'd been there before, I said no, then he offered to give me a quick tour, which is honestly super helpful. I've been to many places before where you say you've never been here and they just vaguely point to the direction of the first tee and say have fun.
Now, on to the course. There's signs around the place that basically say they're transitioning a lot of the bunkers back to grass and to just take free relief since its ground under repair. Easy enough. Tee boxes are a bit beat up but I always managed to find a bit of grass. Fairways and rough were really well taken care of especially considering the time of year. Greens are where I had the biggest problem, a lot of them are great, but a few have some patchy spots that made long putts over them bumpy and unpredictable. I'm not a good enough golfer to complain about conditions so I still had a ton of fun.
Pace of play was great, I was by myself, never saw anyone else until I ran into a 2some on 12. I tried to pass them but they were playing pretty quick and they kept that up the whole rest of the way even with me behind them as a single, never had to wait more than 5 mins to hit a shot.
Overall a pretty nice course, standout hole for me was 10. It does look like they're actively improving the course, so I'm excited to see where it goes. That said, if you're a snob for pristine conditions maybe just play somewhere else for now.

The holes are unique and provide a good challenge for beginners to the experienced pros. Holes 3 and 4 are a lot of fun. This might not be the best maintained greens, but that doesn't matter. The course is fun and that's what makes this place great. If you can overlook that the greens aren't perfect and the lack of good food options, this is a great golfing spot. I do recommend getting a bite to eat first if you're doing all 18 holes.
