Great family resort in Roseburg! The staff was super friendly. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was newly renovated, super comfortable, and offered plenty of space. I would definitely return. Many of the units are pet-friendly. We didn’t get a chance to play golf this time around, but the course looks beautiful and would definitely return to play. The food at the snack bar was awesome! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 10 days and absolutely loved our experience! The RV sites are extra large and very spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out and relax. The sidewalks throughout the park were such a bonus — it made walking with our kids and dogs safe and enjoyable without having to worry about traffic.
One of our favorite parts was the easy access to the beautiful Umpqua River. It was the perfect spot for the kids and dogs to run, play, and burn some energy. The facilities were always clean and very easy to access, and the entire park was clearly well maintained.
The staff here truly went above and beyond. Everyone we met was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Our kids also loved the little playground!
We highly recommend this RV park and can’t wait to stay again!

Bar Run is a great place to stay! We drove down from Washington, which took us about 5.5 hours. My wife and I found this RV park on Facebook last year and decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did.
We were running late to arrive on a Wednesday afternoon, and someone from the front desk actually called to check in and make sure we were still coming. That personal touch was much appreciated.
The RV park itself is very new, clean, and well laid out. All of the spots are spacious and level, with plenty of room for RVs of any size. Some sites even have patches of turf or real grass. I picked a site that seemed perfect, but it ended up being right next to a working gravel yard. It operates during the weekdays until about 4 p.m., so it was a bit noisy during the day—but quiet after hours.
The golf course is beautiful and well-maintained—I’m pretty sure it’s a links-style course. My wife and I played 9 holes early one morning around 7:20 a.m., and it was perfect. The weather had been in the high 90s leading up to our stay, so getting out before the heat was a big win.
Bar Run also features a lazy river, a nice pool, and a snack shop where you can grab food, drinks, and even adult beverages. It’s a great spot to relax and cool off.
That said, the area is pretty quiet, with not much to do beyond the park itself. If you’re not golfing or hanging by the pool, options are limited. We did manage to find a few local wineries and visited a couple, which was a nice way to spend an afternoon.
If you’re from Oregon, it makes for a great weekend getaway. But coming from Washington, it’s a bit of a stretch for just a weekend trip. We stayed for five days, and that felt just right. Next time, we plan to stay for a couple of days and then continue our trip along the coast.

The facilities here are first class (RV park, golf course, swimming pool area with a lazy river). The area is kept well manicured and sparkling clean. While these are impressive, what makes the place are the staff who are very friendly, professional and accommodating.

After finishing the front nine in a reasonable amount of time, we made the turn & see a five some on the tenth tee. We didn't follow this group (or the 6 player group in front of the five some) on the front nine, Apparently, the "assistant pro" allow this situation! After 3 more hours, we finally finished our 5.25 hour round. Allowing 5 & 6 player groups to slow down play is unacceptable.
