Course isn’t horrible. Front nine is pretty creative, back nine is wide open, course has many drivable holes. Definitely an easier course, just wish the conditions were a bit better. Dry time of year so the fairways are dry. Greens were not cut. Very bumpy at times. Yardages are completely wrong, I used 19birdies all day so I could get semi accurate satellite distances. Tee block distances were 30-40 yards off at times, and yard markers in the fairway were sometimes nonexistent. With the setup of some of the holes you almost do not know what you’re aiming for if you don’t take a picture of the map at the entrance. Or if you do not have an app. People running the place were super polite and helpful.

I love playing this course it's a very unique layout. The front 9 is tight fairways with trees and challenging greens and the back nine is wide open(links style) . It's like playing 2 courses in one. Greens and fairways are in good shape. Definitely a hidden gem in our area.

It had been years since I played at Royal 47 (formerly Royal Estates) golf course. It brought back memories from the late 80s when Bob N. built the course from an old field. The trees have grown in and made the course a narrow fairway, sharp shooter paradise. The tee boxes were tough, but with some TLC could be solid. The course was in good shape, greens were challenging. Not to mention the surprise water hazards, the swallowed a ball or two from our group. It was a little bit of a drive, but a decent course to play. We had no issues making a tee time. There is plenty of parking in the gravel parking lot. If you come, make sure you hit them long and straight!
