Awesome round here! I was in Tulsa on business, ended my event early, and wanted to sneak in a round of golf. I called the clubhouse and they said they could sneak me on. I rolled up, and everyone inside was so awesome. The guy who first greeted me, the other guy who ran and grabbed my rental clubs, the girl who rang me up, the starter - literally everyone was awesome. I rented a set of Srixon clubs for only $25 that were great. A few soggy and patchy spots in the rough, I know cuz I can’t hit the ball straight, but the fairways and greens were pretty clean. There are plenty of water hazards to lose a ball in, but not much that’s mandatory to clear or lay up. I had a great time and was glad I stopped in. The sunset at the end was the cherry on top.

Positives: Beautiful greens, great fairway grass and large landing areas. Nice terrain, easy walk, deep bunkers, great rate and pleasant staff. Overall well design course and practice facility. It is a public course with a lot of play. I've decided to retire to Tulsa and play this course every day (if I could retire and play golf every day). This is the travel day for my trip, head back home in a couple hours. I came over last night and hit range balls. They have a lighted range. It was $4 for 40 balls. 90% of the slots were taken but there were a lot and turnover was often so I didn't notice anyone having to wait. They have two large practice greens right before the driving range. They were smooth, quick and undulating which got me hyped for my round in the morning. The girls at night were very pleasant and patient with all my questions. I did ask about the par three lighted course which the highly recommend ---- next time because it is always packed so make a tee time if you want to play. I arrived at 0615 talked to the staff a minute and putted for a couple while they finished opening the shop. It cost me $16 as a 60 year old, military retiree to walk. Not sure if there were any discounts in there (hopefully not a 60 year and discount that doesn'tapply to 59 year Olds since technically I'm59 for another couple weeks). I was first off and Mike walked me out to the first tee giving me a briefing on what to expect. I summed up the course in the first paragraph but to add on; the greens are pretty large, the grass is perfect. Even as the first person on the course I did get to repair a lot of ball marks. Partly because this is a municipal coarse with lots of play. Partially because they are so big. I never had to putt over a badly repair ball mark though. The deep bunkers are very Oklahomian. The sand seemed OK. Mike did say they had a lot of rain last week. I saw a couple with water in them, but the ones I played out of were fine. I am not sure how, but there was a group of old people finishing 17 when I teed off. When I got to the par 5 18th they were 200 yards down the fairway and seemed to wait for the group ahead of them to clear the green. Not sure what they were doing. All and all though I finished by 0950 and have time to shower at the hotel before my flight.

I love this park. It's a great park for running/jogging and walking. Good scenery and landscape. There a tennis center, golf course and public library. It's a clean and well maintained park.
