I had a tee time scheduled for 5:30pm on 8-26-24. During the phone call, I tried to get a later tee time. The polite woman on the phone mentioned that if we were a few minutes late, it would be okay. Later, we walked into the club house at approximately 5:33 pm. I walked up to the counter and explained my prior conversation on the phone. The gentleman laughed, rolled his eyes at me and said, “WELL HURRY UP”. This conversation was all prior to me being asked to pay for my round. He was not professional nor customer oriented what so ever. I then told him to just forget it and that I didn’t want to golf. His mannerism was enough for me to never want to come back. I’m a frequent golfer and would much rather direct myself and others to a more organized and professional course. The communication between employees needs to be improved at this course, as I was being told one thing on the phone and another thing in person. Taking the lack of organization and scheduling abilities out on the customer is not in your best interest. I booked this tee time solely based on the prior conversation I had that told me I was clearly okay to show up a few minutes late if needed. I am really let down with this recent experience. Moving forward, I will consider taking my business elsewhere. I have had several encounters with this gentleman, and from my experience his bad day is often taken out on the customer. This specific encounter was my last straw. I really love the course but not under these circumstances. I would say a few changes to the scheduling, professionalism, and employee communication would go a long way at this establishment.
