Greens are horrible (cracks in the turf and brown spots everywhere), mowing is out of control, and here's the mold on the seats of the golf carts I was given. I was told the good carts are for their "morning group." Pictures are after I cleaned them with a rag and cleaner. Shorts have black stuff all over them after playing... and I smell like mildew from the seats. This is pathetic.

I have played this course off and on since it was built. I can remember when it had great greens. Played 8/21 and played it in July. I honestly thought it could not get worse from my July visit it, but it did. Fairways are not mowed, can barely see the ball in your own fairway. Greens are horrendous. They are slow, not cut daily, not cut every other day, not cut after the day after that, or the day after that. Different turf all over, missing turf, random patches, and crab grass growing over all 18 of them. I understand golf courses are expensive to maintain. It's not easy to maintain a golf course. The bare minimum is to mow the fairways once a week and cut your greens three times a week. We all know a course should cut their greens every day if conditions allow. Again, maintaining a golf course is not easy. If you have good greens, even decent greens, golfers can tolerate the other poor conditions. Golfers care about good greens, The rest you can deal with. But that bare minimum is not being met. There is not one decently maintained hole on the course. Not one good tee box, fairway, or green. The traps are also a joke. The only reason to play there is the great group of guys that continue to patronize it. Overall, the conditions are horrendous. Normally when you see a course in this type of condition, it's going out of business. Besides the course conditions, there are broken down golf carts laying around, weeds growing everywhere, and old worn out signs near the road. It's very clear that ownership does not care about the course nor does it have the funds to take care of it properly. It's a clear middle finger to the good people of Monroe County, Wetzel County, and to the game of golf. The community deserves better than this.

Average course ,nice flat no hills hard to find ball in rough, greens good, Don't go if u are single and want a cart they charge singles 7 extra dollars . They say cart is made for 2 so we have to charge more. Well times I played there were probably 30 or more carts sitting , empty. I will not go back to play because of extra fee. I will be in that area a few more times this year camping will find somewhere else to play I refuse to let them rook me out of more money cause I play by myself. Lost many balls when ball just ran off fairway lost enough much less take a beating on cart that cart will not have me in it so they will loose money cause greed has no place for me.

9 and a cart is cheap so that’s good. The only course in the area with a driving range so another plus. But the course isn’t taken care of at all. The greens are either dead or have stuff all over them. The fairways are longer than most courses. And if you hit it in the rough you better let the next two groups play through cause you’re not finding your ball

Read the previous reviews. Nothing has changed. Greens are in rough shape and burnt to Hell and back. I’ve had an easier time retrieving balls hitting out in a fresh cut hayfield than finding one 10 feet off the fairway at this place. Dried clumps of grass all over the place. The “fairways” are relatively high. I understand you get what you pay for, but compared to other courses in the area at the same prices it’s pretty pathetic and it’s a shame considering the location and potential that’s there.
