Great course spread out over a vast area with wide fairways and lots of water. The greens were a little slow, though. ⛳

Mike the starter is great. Staff is friendly. The course is very well maintained for the amount of play it gets.

Great grounds and practice areas. Driving range is often cordoned off from the back and made irons-only to let grass recover. There's a ball machine on the range that takes payment so you don't need to go to the pro shop (more on that later). Greens don't break as much as you'd expect. Forced carries are pretty difficult-- high handicaps shouldn't play here unless from the forward tees. Outdoor staff including rangers, bag drop, and cart barn personnel are great. The pro shop attendants are hit and miss. One woman was one of the nicest people I've ever interacted with (late 2024), but all of the other people I've encountered have been miserable or unhelpful at best. If they're busy, don't show up as a single or a walk-in without a time booked online. If you get stuck with one of the grumps behind the counter, don't even bother assuming they'll help you, even if slots are listed online. In fact, I booked and paid for my last round on my phone while standing in front of the desk and listening to them complaining that they were so busy and couldn't do anything for me. There were several threesomes queued up with the starter and I went right out with one of them. I get if you're having a bad day, whatever, but I've been here 4-5 times and it's always like the "I Have People Skills" scene from Office Space. If being kind and accommodating stresses you out that much, find something else to do, lol. 5 stars otherwise.
