This was my first time playing at this golf course. The autumn leaves were at their peak, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was quite windy, and the view was so stunning that it was hard to stay focused on golf, but the course itself was excellent. Compared to other courses, I noticed two things about this one: First, it didn’t seem to have too many bunkers. Second, the distance between the white tees and the red tees wasn’t that big, which made it a bit of a challenge for me — but I really enjoyed the round.

Played this scenic and challenging track as part of the AM Tour golf league two weeks ago. I was fortunate enough to play well and notch my 8th win in 5 years. This course is relatively flat despite being located upstate about 1.5 hours from lower Manhattan. It is walker-friendly except for the 7th hole known as "Star" that should be renamed as "Cardiac Hill" that probably had a 40 degree uphill slope. The signature hole for me was the "Bullet hole" #12, a diabolical short 140 yard Par 3 that had at least 3 ridges bisecting the green. I made the mistake of hitting over the green to an impossible spot that led to a 7 but thankfully, I was able to recover from this fiasco and play well enough to eke out a 2-shot win by shooting Par - Par - Bogey on the last 3 holes. Fairways were well-maintained with no bare spots. The greens were in good condition with good speed. The tee boxes were also well-maintained. The rough on some holes were a bit on the ligther side with some bare spots. Facilities include a well-stocked Pro Shop and a restaurant with a bar but more importantly, there are lockers and shower facilities w/ hot water as well for out-of-towners like me. The only negative about this course is that they currently don't sell the pin flags to golfers who'd like to bring home a memento. Overall, the course was good enough for tournament golf and is probably close enough to the conditions at the Bethpage courses.

Great venue, fantastic! Bea, saw Abba tribute last Friday night and it was sensational. Sky with you but no lots of staff to help whenever needed, hundreds of people it was a night to remember under the Stars.. I gave it a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
