If I could give zero stars I would for a plethora of reasons. The golf carts stalled out on every hole. States 18 hole course, but was only 9 holes. Pictures on website do not accurately represent the course as a whole. Need updated pictures.

I've played at King Ferry many times, and the course is usually in great shape. The owners have always been very nice to me. The rough has tall grass like a Links Course. Seniors 55 and over get a discount. The views of Cayuga Lake are spectacular. 5 holes are fairly easy, 4 are very hard. No sand traps. I was told they are planning to add another 9 holes in the future. I love playing there.

My 21 year old son and I are beginner golfers. After taking three days of golf lessons in Hilton Head we returned home and decided to try Kings Ferry as our first course. As others have said it is scenic, well kept and the staff are great. It has a driving range with a practice putting green and chipping area. I think it is a great course for beginners. No crowds, no rush, no pressure, very reasonably priced. We especially enjoy twighlight playing and often are the last to finish. As a beginner, it is hard to say how difficult it is compared to other courses. There are a variety of challenges. I do think the greens are a bit edgey, maybe like sponge? No doubt we will gradand begin venturing out to other courses. For now, we are happy learning the game on this course.
