I have been to multiple courses since I moved here a year ago and I would have to say this is my favorite by far! Very nice course and club house, has country club feel to it from the second you pull on to the main road! Decently priced plus if you get the capital region card it’s only 40$ to play 18 with cart! I’ve been to more expensive courses in the area and this one I still feel has nicer greens and landscape and all around view! They also cater to guests which is nice we showed up really early and they had breakfast cooking outside and drinks ready to go, very accommodating!

September, 2025 Van Patten Golf Club hosted a fundraiser for the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. The weather was perfect, and the Van Patten staff was very helpful. The event was well attended and there very happy golfers. I don't think it could have gone any better and we raised over $23,000 for medical equipment for the County Shelter. Compliments were flying! Highly recommend holding a golf outing here.

Great golf course. It's huge, it has 27 holes. Went there as part of a company golf league. Played 1 to 18 hole. The price is reasonable. Golf carts are extra and need to paid per person instead of per golf cart. We had our own push carts. Lot of hills as you go through, so push cart can be really tiring if you are playing more than 9 holes. Recommend getting the golf carts in that case. The course was well kept. Fairways were well groomed. There are some challenging holes. Some of the greens are challenging as well. Went there on a Wednesday. Not a lot of people which meant we could play at our own pace without holding up groups behind. The vista restaurant has good outdoor seating and serves good beer. Would visit again.
