Sea Trail Golf Resort Tee Times

Played Bird course and front nine of Jones course on 12/28/25. Bird course was in good winter condition tee to green; greens rolled smooth and quick. Jones course was in similar condition except for greens, which were much slower and somewhat bumpy. Enjoyed layout of Jones course more but given condition, would play bird at the moment. Clubhouse was very nice and lunch food was great. Biggest downside is that there is no driving range at the course.

We used the Sea Trail Convention Center for our annual Carolina Shores Christmas party and we are definitely glad the Convention Center is open again! Planning our function was made simple by Rebecca and her staff provided exceptional dinner and bar service. Looking forward to many more holiday memories here.

WOW! I hidden gem! The leadership is really investing in this property - the golf course is in great shape - fun to play - I believe they have three, 18 hole courses....lots of improvements! The clubhouse is awesome and next time we will try the restaurant for dinner - looks awesome! Nice folks - great service - we will be back! Thanks for a nice time!

Played the Jones course. It was alright. Some greens needed repairs but the reason for the rating is not really related to the course. Left my range finder in the cart. Called and got confirmation they had it. I had already went back home so I asked them to mail it. Gave them my address and even my card number to cover shipping. 5 weeks later and no less then 6 calls to the pro shop and it hasn't been shipped, or, if it was it was certainly not shipped to me. Claimed it was shipped yet didn't have a tracking number. Laughable, really. Each time there is an excuse or some BS reason. Original eating is a 1 star because of how the lost range finder was handled. Updated to a 4 star which is more reflective of the golf course. The layout was fun and not too challenging but the best part was the short tees in the middle of the fairway for my wife and son who are learning to play from. Updated: Jimmy (director of Golf Operations) responded to my original email that I wrote well before I left the original review. He turned my experience around completely and went above and beyond what I would have expected. This whole ordeal could have been avoided in the first place, but Jimmy has been very responsive and apologetic. All I wanted through the whole process was some honesty, and Jimmy was able to provide that. Thank you for turning a negative experience into a positive.

Came back to play the Byrd course. Again, not disappointed. Many great holes. Nice, consistent greens. More challenging than the Jones. Jones course is a lot of fun, nice layout. Staff was friendly and helpful. Signage for some holes could be better. Some greens need attention. Overall great experience. Will be back to play the other 2 courses.
