Disappointing. We had high expectations for this reunion round of four golfers on the East Course. Greens had recently been sanded (no disclosure or discount). Bunkers were in very poor condition, with rocks and inconsistent sand. Some bunkers appeared to have been long neglected or altogether abandoned (photo is hole 15 fairway bunker, right side, which had grass, mud, rocks and a foot-high uncut collar). Fairways were in generally good condition, with the exception of poor drainage on holes 9 and 18 (photo is right side of 18 fairway about 230 yards from tee). Tee boxes were in relatively good shape. Rough averaged about 2 inches. Pace of play was fine. Staff were courteous and professional. All in all, it was just OK, which is not what we expected, especially at $90 a pop on a Tuesday. It was a very poor value, leaving us unimpressed.

It was a beautiful day to play golf and I joined my husband and his friend on the outing. The courses at Grandover are beautiful, today we played the East course. The greens are well kept and I think the course had a nice challenge to it. The only thing I think they need to improve here at Grandover is keeping people off the course during open hours - like people walking their dogs on the cart path and even letting their dogs run loose, also especially kids riding bicycles. It’s not a very safe place for people with golf balls flying in the air. I wish they would enforce some “Keep Out” rules better. I think they used to enforce this better a long time ago. But all in all, it’s a great golf course and we will be back. We are looking forward to even cooler weather which is our favorite time of year to play!

Read the resent reviews posted on here about the golf course I'm glad I took a chance. We played the West course it was in amazing shape a very nice and pleasant experience from the staff to the course condition. Tea boxes, fairways and greens were amazing. I did not see any of the issues I read about in the reviews. would defiantly play again and recommend to any one looking to play a well manicured course.
